Cummins/Onan — Generator Rotor Assembly and Stator Installation

For these Cummins/Onan models: JB, LS-10.

Applies to: Cummins Onan Ls 10

Procedure

  1. Install stator and end bell.
  2. Torque nuts on through-studs to 19-21 ft-lbs (26-28 N•m).
  3. Make certain the B1 lead is placed through the grommet in the baffle ring and out the air discharge opening in the adapter.
  4. Torque the rotor-through-stud nut to 55-60 ft-lbs (75-81 N•m).

  • Stator through-stud nut torque: 19-21 ft-lbs (26-28 N•m)
