Before you start

Procedure

  1. Turn pump body over and remove vaive plate
  2. Clean pump body thoroughly with solvent and a
  3. Holding the pump cover with the diaphragm
  4. Place pump body assembly in a clean place and
  5. Clean mounting bracket with a solvent and a fine
  6. Replace the diaphragm fuel pump rod spring,
  7. Hold bracket, then place the pump cover on it
  8. Remove vacuum and fuel lines. inspect lines for
  9. Scribe two lines (one each on opposite ends of
  10. Remove fuel pump attaching screws.
  11. Holding pump, carefully pull sections of the pump
  12. Check parts for wear and damage. Replace with
