Before you start
- Use care when reassembling and reinstalling the pump. Improper parts alignment or misconnected fuel lines may result in leaking fuel, creating a serious fire hazard
Procedure
- 1. Remove fuel lines and mounting screws holding
- 2. Make an indicating mark with a file across a point
- 3. Turn pump body over and remove vaive plate
- 4. Clean pump body thoroughly with solvent and a
- 5. Holding the pump cover with the diaphragm
- 6. Place pump body assembly in a clean place and
- 8. Clean mounting bracket with a solvent and a fine
- 9. Replace the diaphragm fuel pump rod spring,
- 10. Hold bracket, then place the pump cover on it
- 1. Remove vacuum and fuel lines. inspect lines for
- 2. Scribe two lines (one each on opposite ends of
