Procedure

  1. Open the transferswitch cabinet door and unplug
  2. Loosen and remove the four machine screws
  3. Remove the screws and flat washers that secure
  4. Separate the actuator lead wires from the rest of
  5. Pry the capacitor(s) loose from the bracket.
  6. Disconnect the black actuator lead wire from the
  7. Remove the hex head capscrews, flat washers,
  8. Disengage actuator rod from switch handle and
  9. Remove one of the hex head capscrews and lock
  10. Insert the actuator rod into the replacement actu-
  11. -TORQUE SHALL BE 10-15 IN-LBS FOR 86-32 SCREWS.
  12. -TORQUE SHALL BE 25-30 IN-LBS FOR.#10-32 SCREWS.
  13. -TORQUE SHALL BE 70-75 IN-LBS FOR 1/4-20 SCREWS.
  14. -TORQUE SHALL BE 10-12 FT-LES FOR 5/16-18 SCREWS,
  15. Hold actuator motor in position over the switch
  16. Secure the actuator motor to the switch assem-
  17. Connect the black actuator lead wire to the circuit
  18. Replace the capacitor end cap(s) and install the
  19. Connect the ground wire to the end of the actua-
  20. Place the red plastic barrier in position and
