Procedure
- Open the transferswitch cabinet door and unplug
- Loosen and remove the four machine screws
- Remove the screws and flat washers that secure
- Separate the actuator lead wires from the rest of
- Pry the capacitor(s) loose from the bracket.
- Disconnect the black actuator lead wire from the
- Remove the hex head capscrews, flat washers,
- Disengage actuator rod from switch handle and
- Remove one of the hex head capscrews and lock
- Insert the actuator rod into the replacement actu-
- -TORQUE SHALL BE 10-15 IN-LBS FOR 86-32 SCREWS.
- -TORQUE SHALL BE 25-30 IN-LBS FOR.#10-32 SCREWS.
- -TORQUE SHALL BE 70-75 IN-LBS FOR 1/4-20 SCREWS.
- -TORQUE SHALL BE 10-12 FT-LES FOR 5/16-18 SCREWS,
- Hold actuator motor in position over the switch
- Secure the actuator motor to the switch assem-
- Connect the black actuator lead wire to the circuit
- Replace the capacitor end cap(s) and install the
