Procedure
- Check fuel supply, shut-off valve position, fuel lines and strainer before disassembling the pump.
- Remove the six screws in the top of the pump to separate cover group from pump body group.
- Inspect the diaphragm, valves, gasket, spring and driving linkage.
- Shellac the edges of the diaphragm when reassembling to insure an air tight seal.
- Check operation of the pump and all connections for leakage.
