Procedure

1. Remove the cleaner element from the cleaner body.
2. Remove the cleaner body from the carburetor intake.
3. Rinse the element in gasoline until all traces of dirt are gone.
4. Wash all dirt and oil from the cleaner body.
5. Refill the oil reservoir to the proper level.
6. Replace the element and reinstall the cleaner on the engine.
