Before you start

  • This unit does not require regular service but may have to be rebuilt to restore normal efficiency after extended hours of operation.

Procedure

  1. Disassemble the flame arrestor unit.
  2. Swish element in a cleaning solvent that does not leave a film.
  3. Allow the element to drip dry.
  4. Reinstall on the engine.
