Cummins/Onan — FIGURE 22. REMOVAL OF PLUNGER ASSEMBLY

For these Cummins/Onan models: BF/BFA/BGA, BFA, BGA, NH.

Procedure

  1. 3. Using a thin nose pliers, remove the retainer spring
  2. 4. Wash all parts (except gasket and seal) in parts
  3. 5. Insert plunger in tube, buffer spring end first. Check
  4. 6. Install plunger spring, cup valve, “O” ring seal and
  5. 7. Check cover gasket and replace if deteriorated.
