Cummins/Onan NHM — Exhaust Manifold Removal

Before you start

  • Be sure to cover the openings in the block to prevent loose parts and dirt from entering the engine

Procedure

  1. Remove the muffler first
  2. If equipped for liquid-withdrawal of LPG, disconnect both ends of the LPG vaporizer tubing clamped to the manifold
  3. Remove the four exhaust manifold bolts and then the manifold and gaskets
  4. Be sure to cover the openings in the block to prevent loose parts and dirt from entering the engine
