For these Cummins/Onan models: DKG, RGA-IN1.

Procedure

  1. Connect one lead to F2- stud and connect
  2. Reverse ohmmeter leads from steps 2 and 3
  3. All the resistance readings should be high in
  4. Replace defective rectifier assembly with new

Tools required

  • Use 23 to 2S inch lbs (2.S to 2.9 N.m) torque when

Specs & torque values

  • Use 23 to 2S inch lbs (2.S to 2.9 N.m) torque when
  • Use 23 to 26 inch pounds (2.6 to 2.9 N•m) torque
  • 77°F (25°C) should be 540 milliohms ± 10%.
  • Wheatstone Bridge. The resistance at 77°F (25°C}
  • 10% at 77°F (25°C ).
