Cummins/Onan — REPLACEMENT

Procedure

  2. Stop the generator set and disconnect the
  3. Unscrew the voltage regulator from the AC
  4. Unplug the regulator from the wiring harness.
  5. Remove the mounting screws from the old
  6. Reconnect the plug connection to the wiring
  7. Connect one lead to F2- stud and connect
  8. Reverse ohmmeter leads from steps 2 and 3
  9. All the resistance readings should be high in
  10. Replace defective rectifier assembly with new

Specs & torque values

  • Use 23 to 2S inch lbs (2.S to 2.9 N.m) torque when
