Procedure

  1. First drain the engine oil and then remove the
  2. Remove the cover from the genset. (Remove
  3. Remove
  4. Remove the engine/generator-to-base mount-
  5. Disconnect all leads from the start relay and re-
  6. Carefully lift the generator end of the genset
  7. Remove the fan housing assembly from the
  8. Secure the fan so that it cannot rotate and re-
  9. Use a magnet to pull out the fan-to-shaft align-
  10. Disconnect the wire harness leads from the
  11. Disconnect the starter bracket from the rear of
  12. Pull outward on the r
  13. Wear gloves to protect hands from sharp
