Before you start

  • Carburetor parts are fragile; handle with care.

Procedure

  1. Remove chamber set plug and washer from float chamber.
  2. Remove the float chamber and gasket.
  3. Slide the float pin out from the passage in the carburetor.
  4. Remove float and float valve from the carburetor.
  5. Remove the main jet.
  6. Remove the idle adjust screw.
  7. Never force a part when disassembling or assembling the carburetor.
