Before you start
- Disconnect negative battery cable first.
Procedure
- Disconnect the starting battery cables, the negative (-) cable first.
- Connect an ohmmeter across the switch terminals.
- Open and close the switch while observing the ohmmeter; note operation of normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) contacts.
- Replace the switch if defective.
