Procedure

1. Tighten rear bearing end plate to recommended torque.
2. Check crankshaft endplay.
3. Too much endplay: replace gasket with thinner gasket from kit.
4. Too little endplay: replace gasket with thicker gasket.
5. Reinstall end plate with thrust washer notches aligned to lock pins.
6. Torque and recheck endplay.
