Procedure
- Run engine about 10 minutes to reach normal operating temperature.
- Check no-load speed with tachometer; it should be slightly higher than connected load requirement.
- Turn speed adjusting nut in to increase speed or out to decrease speed.
- Recheck speed with tachometer.
