Cummins/Onan — Removal and Disassembly

For these Cummins/Onan models: 2.5 MAJB-1 R, 2.5 MAJB-53BR, 2.5 MAJB-53CR.

Procedure

1. 1. Disconnect all lines, linkages, wires, and attaching
2. 2. Remove the resonator and flame arrester.
3. 3. Remove the throttle and choke plate retaining
4. 4. Remove the main fuel and adjustment screw
5. 5. Unscrew the main fuel adjustment retaining nut and
6. 6. Carefully note the position of the float assembly
7. 7. Unscrew and remove the needle valve seat.
8. 1. Soak all metal components that are to be reused. Do
