Before you start
- Never push START longer than ten seconds at a time without equivalent stops.
Procedure
- Open the appropriate fuel valve.
- Press START button no longer than 10 seconds at a time.
- If engine fails to crank, connect jumper from start button terminal to start solenoid coil terminal and press START.
- If thermostat contacts open, wait 3-1/2 to 12 minutes for automatic reset.
- If battery is low, start manually with rope.
