Procedure

1. Run engine at normal operating temperature.
2. For main adjustment, turn main adjusting needle out about two full turns.
3. Slowly turn in until engine begins to lose power and speed.
4. Turn out slowly until engine runs at maximum power and speed.
5. For idle adjustment, turn idle needle in until engine loses considerable speed.
6. Turn out until engine runs smoothly; correct setting is 3/4 to 1 turn open.
