Before you start
- Batteries present the hazard of explosion
Procedure
- Locate the adjustable resistor slide tap in the generator air outlet
- Move the slide tap to produce a 2 ampere charging rate
- Increase the charging rate slightly if frequent starts are required
- Adjust the slide tap only when the engine is stopped
