Before you start
- Mechanical tightening will distort or crack filter head.
Procedure
- Unscrew combination case and element, discard element.
- Fill new filter with clean fuel.
- Install filter; tighten by hand until seal touches filter head, then an additional one-half to three-fourths turn.
