Before you start
- Engine fuel is highly flammable.
- Do not open high-pressure fuel system with engine running.
Procedure
- Shut off engine. Close OEM fuel valves if equipped.
- Clean area around fuel filter head.
- Remove spent filter canister using filter wrench.
- Clean filter mounting head surface; ensure gasket surfaces clean.
- Lubricate gasket seal with clean SAE 15W-40 engine oil.
- Install new filter; tighten until gasket snug then additional 1/4 turn.
- Open fuel supply valves; start engine using CRANK BATT A or B switch.
- Depress selector switch up to 15 seconds or until engine starts.
