Cummins/Onan MCCK — Carburetor Float Level Adjustment

Before you start

  • Protect buoyancy spring during adjustment

Procedure

  1. Disconnect governor, choke, fuel line.
  2. Remove two bolts holding carburetor.
  3. Remove four Phillips screws, lift off.
  4. Invert and check float setting.
  5. Bend float tab if needed.
  6. Reassemble and test.

Specs & torque values

  • 0.02 plus/minus 0.02 inch float setting
