Before you start

  • when making adjustments while the engine is running.

Procedure

  1. Adjust the carburetor idle adjustment screw and
  2. Adjust the length of the governor linkage and
  3. With the warmed up unit operating at no load,
  4. Check the voltage and speed first with a load

Tools required

  • the engine stopped
  • load applied
