Before you start
- Always perform carburetor repair under cleanest conditions possible
- Be careful not to damage the teflon coating applied to some throttle shafts
Procedure
- 1. If engine is equipped with an automatic choke,
- 2. Remove throttle and choke plate retaining screws,
- 3. Remove main and idle adjustment screw assem
- 4. On downdraft carburetors, remove attaching
- 5. Carefully note position of float assembly parts,
- 6. Unscrew and remove needle valve seat.
