Procedure
- Remove breaker box cover.
- Remove spark plugs so engine turns easily.
- Remove mounting screws and pull points out.
- Install new points, leave mounting screws loose.
- Rotate engine clockwise until points fully open.
- Adjust gap to 0.020 in (0.51 mm).
- Tighten mounting screws and recheck gap.
- Oil pivot point.
