Before you start
- Diesel fuel is highly combustible; do not smoke near fuel tanks and fuel lines
Procedure
- Loosen the fuel line fitting at the filter head.
- Pump the priming lever on the fuel lift pump until fuel starts flowing from the fitting and is free of air.
- See the engine Operation Manual if it is necessary to bleed the fuel injection system.
