Before you start
- If battery polarity is wrong, damage occurs within 3 minutes stopped or 5 seconds running
Procedure
- Connect battery positive (+) to starter engaging solenoid terminal post.
- Connect battery negative (-) to a good ground on the engine.
- Begin Spec P: negative battery ground only.
