Before you start
- Do not run engine without air cleaner element.

Procedure
- Remove precleaner.
- Wash in water and detergent.
- Squeeze dry like a sponge and allow to dry thoroughly.
- Distribute one tablespoon SAE 30 engine oil evenly around precleaner.
- Knead in and wring out excess oil.
- Install over paper element.
