Procedure

  1. Open the cabinet door of the automatic transfer switch.
  2. Move the operation selector switch on engine control to STOP.
  3. Turn the % DROP-OUT DIFFERENTIAL knobs to minimum and the PICK-UP VOLTAGE knobs to the clockwise limit (maximum).
  4. On the sensor to be calibrated, turn PICK-UP VOLTAGE knob slowly counterclockwise until relay K6 closes; reading times multiplying factor should equal line voltage.
  5. If setting too low: turn % DROP-OUT DIFFERENTIAL to minimum, turn PICK-UP VOLTAGE to desired setting, insert screwdriver in CALIBRATE hole and turn counterclockwise until relay K6 picks up.
  6. If setting too high: turn PICK-UP VOLTAGE to clockwise limit, turn CALIBRATE to clockwise limit, turn knob to desired setting, then turn CALIBRATE counterclockwise until relay K6 picks up.
  7. Repeat for each overvoltage sensor, then make the sensor settings.
