Before you start
- Be sure to remove AC line voltage from the automatic transfer switch. Otherwise, the transfer switch has high voltages and presents a serious shock hazard.
Procedure
- Open right cabinet door of automatic transfer switch.
- Move operation selector switch on engine control to STOP and disconnect starting battery.
- Remove AC line voltage from the automatic transfer switch.
- Remove the twist-lock disconnect plug.
- Completely open the control accessory panel.
- Loosen the latch pin on the side of the control cabinet, move latch pin up or down in the slot as necessary, then tighten.
- Close the control accessory panel; if more adjustment is necessary, repeat the preceding two steps.
- Reconnect the twist-lock disconnect plug.
- Restore AC line voltage to the automatic transfer switch.
- Move operation selector switch on engine control to RMT.
- Reconnect starting battery and close cabinet door.
