Cummins/Onan — Align brush rig to neutral position

Procedure
- Remove end cover and band for access.
- Start unit and apply full rated load.
- Allow unit to reach full operating temperature.
- Connect voltmeter across dc terminals.
- Loosen brush rig mounting screws and rotate rig for highest voltage at full load.
- Rotate rig one direction until voltmeter reading decreases; mark point.
- Repeat in other direction; halfway between marks is neutral position.
