Procedure
- Connect battery between Switch terminal of solenoid and starter bracket so pinion travels.
- Push pinion back until play is taken out of lever and clutch mechanism.
- Measure pinion clearance.
- Adjust by changing number of fiber washers on solenoid mounting surface.
