Before you start
- Do not bend the float when installed.
Procedure
- Invert float and casting.
- With float resting lightly against needle and seat, clearance should be .07 to .11 inch.
- To reset float level, remove float and bend float tang near pin.
- Check float for leakage; repair or replace if damaged.
- Clean filter screen from float bowl.
- Install new gaskets when reassembling.
Tools required
- 3/32 inch drill bit or bit between .07 and .11 inch Amazon
