Before you start
- Diesel fuel is combustible; keep all sources of ignition away
Procedure
- Disconnect negative battery cable and close the fuel supply valve, if provided.
- Open front access door and spin off the old filter.
- Clean the contact surface on the filter base.
- Lubricate the new filter gasket and spin the new filter on hand tight.
- Prime the engine for at least 30 seconds to fill the new filter.
- Run the genset, check for leaks and tighten the filter by hand if necessary.
