Before you start
- Hazardous voltage - use insulated tools and dry insulating platform
Procedure
- Disconnect all generator loads and connect accurate AC volts and frequency meters.
- Start the genset and let voltage and frequency stabilize for 5 to 10 seconds.
- Rapidly press the control switch to START 6 times within 10 seconds.
- To adjust voltage up, press START and release quickly (about 0.6 volt rise each press).
- To adjust voltage down, press START and release in 1 second (about 0.6 volt drop each press).
- Normal operation resumes 20 seconds after the last adjustment.
