Before you start
- Automatic startup of the genset while performing maintenance can cause severe personal injury or death. Push control switch to Off and disconnect negative battery cable.
Procedure
- Perform pre-start checks and maintenance.
- Push control switch to Run.
- Engine should crank, start and run up to governed speed.
- Check for fuel and exhaust leaks.
- Allow engine to warm up before connecting loads.
