Before you start
- Use only the vibration isolators provided with the electric generating set, as they are designed to support the unit's weight.
Procedure
- Assemble the vibration isolators as shown in Figure 2.
- Use the two engine-end isolators at the engine end and the two generator-end isolators at the generator end.
- Leave 1/16-inch (15.9 mm) minimum clearance between the snubbing washers on mobile installations.
