Before you start
- Do not route remote wires through the same conduit as the AC load wires
- Seal any opening to prevent deadly exhaust gases from entering the motor home
Procedure
- Determine location of remote control and cut a hole in motor home panel
- Connect five lengths of No. 18 wire to junction box wires labeled 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6
- Connect to corresponding terminals on remote control panel
- Route remote wires through a separate knockout plug on junction box
- Make connections to remote control panel, then secure with #5 wood screws
- Seal any opening between plant compartment and motor home interior
