Before you start
- Do not overcharge the battery.
Procedure
- Turn knob on rheostat to the right to increase charging rate or to the left to decrease it.
- Usually a rate of 2 to 3 amperes will keep battery charged. Do not exceed a constant charge rate of over 6 amperes.
- When recharging battery, check specific gravity with a hydrometer at regular intervals.
