Before you start
- Dirt in the fuel system can cause severe damage to the injection pump and nozzles.
Procedure
- Disconnect fuel return line.
- Operate hand priming lever on fuel transfer pump until fuel from return line is free of air bubbles.
- Reconnect fuel return line.
- Crank engine to expel trapped air from injection pump.
- Return priming lever inward to disengaged position when finished.
