Before you start
- Tappets too close may burn valves or score camshaft.
Procedure
- Remove valve compartment covers.
- Turn crankshaft one turn beyond valve closing point.
- Check tappet on low point of cam lobe.
- Adjust self-locking screws to 0.012 in cold.
