Before you start

  • Ensure all air housing parts are installed or overheating will result.

Procedure

  1. Set toggle switch to ELECT. START on remote models.
  2. Adjust manual choke on electric-start models.
  3. Push START-STOP switch to START.
  4. Hold switch closed during hesitation period.
  5. Listen for clicking of magneto impulse coupling.
  6. Release switch when engine starts.
