Before you start

  • Note: Cap-screws threaded into aluminum may

Procedure

  1. 3. Reconnect the two electrical wires.
  2. 4. Reinstall the flexible hose from shut-off valve to gas
  3. flow regulator.
  4. 5. Open manual gas shut-off valve.
  5. 6. Apply liquid soap to all connections and check for
  6. leaks.
  7. 7. Reconnect battery power.
  8. * Carburetor - Remove and Instail
  9. Remove
  10. 1. Disconnect battery power from the engine starter
  11. and turn off the manual gas shut-off valve that sup-
  12. plies gas to the engine. This valve is located in the
  13. gas line upstream of the engine prior to the ASCO
  14. shut-off valves. Apply a “Do Not Open” red tag to
  15. the manual shut-off valve as a precautionary move.
  16. 2. Disconnect lower piping and ASCO shut-off valve
  17. from carburetor and the RV91 gas flow regulator by
  18. loosening the 2” pipe coupling right below the RV9t
  19. gas flow regulator.
  20. 3. Remove the band clamp from the turbocharger inlet
  21. and the carburetor air/fuel outlet pipe.
  22. 4. Remove the carburetor air/fuel outlet pipe by remov-
  23. ing six 1/2” bolts, washers and nuts with two 3/4”
  24. wrenches. Do not reuse the gasket.
  25. 5. Remove the RV91 gas flow regulator from the carbu-

Tools required

  • retor with a 15” pipe wrench by unscrewing the 2” pipe
  • wrench and remove six 3/8” bolts using a 9/16”
  • direction until tight using a 15” pipe wrench. Tighten

Specs & torque values

  • 39 ft-lbs
  • 5 ft-lb
