Procedure

1. 25. Tighten the four pump to pump drive cap-screws.
2. Torque Value: 60 Nem [45 ft-lb]
3. 26. Tighten the four adapter plate cap-screws that hold
4. the plate to the cylinder block.
5. Torque Value: 40 Nem [30 ft-Ib]
6. Install the Water Pump Inlet Housing
7. 27. Install the o-ring seal in the groove on the inlet hous-
8. ing. Us vegetable oi! to lubricate the seal.
9. 28. Install the housing in the bore in the water pump.
10. 29. Align the holes. Install the two lock-washers and
11. cap-screws in the top and outside cap- screw holes.
12. 30, Tighten the cap-screws only enough to hold the
13. parts together.
