Procedure

  1. 2. The 3-prong harness connector and 5-prong pick-up
  2. 3. Mount the ignition coils and connect them to spark
  3. 4. Connect the leads of the harness to the positive termi-
  4. 5. On six cylinder engines, the coils on #1 and #6, #2 and
  5. 6. Connect the leads of the harness to the positive
  6. 7. Running the white shutdown lead next to the gray pick-
  7. 1. Set the engine so that the #1 cylinder is at the ignition
  8. 2. Line up the red rotating line with the stationary CW
  9. 3. Reinstall the cover to the unit, engaging the gears, and
  10. 4. Securely tighten the four fastening screws.
  11. 5. Final timing should be checked using a timing light with
  12. 6. Altronic tll Output Voltmeter Reading
  13. 7. Install the Altronic Ill to the engine as described above
  14. 8. On the twelve cylinder engines, the coils that are
  15. 9. The negative terminals of the coils on the cylinders
  16. 10. Connect the leads of the harness to the positive
  17. 1. Shut off the main gas supply valve,
  18. 2. Remove air intake piping from the carburetor.
  19. 3. Remove gas supply line fromm the pressure reduction
  20. 4. Remove throttle linkage from the carburetor.
