Procedure
- Remove the one piece exhaust silencer by unscrewing it in a counterclockwise direction.
- Clean by sloshing in hot soapy water and rinse in clear water.
- If dirt has clogged the silencer presoak in an alkaline cleaning solution.
- After cleaning, stand the silencer on edge to allow it to drain.
- Screw it back into the elbow of the exhaust valve counterclockwise.
