Chrysler — Fan and Generator Belt Adjustment

From a Chrysler operator's manual covering: IND. 30, IND. 31, IND. 32, IND. 33, IND. 908A, IND. 931. Check it applies to your exact model before use.

Procedure

  1. Loosen generator pivot bracket bolts and adjustment locking bolt.
  2. Pull generator out until there is 1/2 inch deflection in belt midway between fan pulley and generator pulley.
  3. Hold generator in position and tighten locking bolt and pivot bolts.
