Chrysler — Adjusting the Fan Belt

Procedure
- Loosen generator pivot bracket bolts and adjustment locking bolt.
- Pull generator out until there is 1/4 inch deflection midway between fan pulley and generator pulley.
- Hold generator in this position and tighten adjustment locking bolt and pivot bolts.

- 1/4 inch belt deflection
