Procedure

  1. 1. Clean and adjust contact points in distributor (0.15 to .018 inch).
  2. 2. Lubricate distributor cam wick.
  3. 3. Check spark plugs for fouling and for proper gap (.035 inch).
  4. 5. Check carburetor adjustment. See Adjustment Section.
  5. 6. Inspect all wiring for loose connections and worn or broken insu-
  6. 7. Clean the engine thoroughly.
  7. 8. Inspect fluid level in Torque Converter.
  8. 1. Drain and refill transmission (4 and 5 speed).
  9. 2. Drain and refill Torque Converter Unit.
